Learn · Sleep environment
Understand what the room is telling you.
A sleep environment includes more than one number. Room conditions, the mattress surface, clothing and bedding all create context.
Measure what helps you observe change, then follow established safe-sleep guidance. A device can show temperature or activity, but it cannot reduce the whole sleep environment to a universal pass or fail.
Room and mattress are different viewpoints.
A room thermometer describes the air around the crib. A mattress-level sensor describes conditions nearer the sleep surface. Neither measurement explains the entire environment alone.
Different measurement points. Different context.
Tools show different things.
Cameras show visual activity. Wearables show data from an attached device. A smart mattress can show mattress-level movement and temperature. Understanding those boundaries helps prevent false confidence.
Use guidance outside the product.
Continue to follow established safe-sleep practices and advice from qualified professionals. NuraNest is designed to organize information, not certify a nursery.
Questions
Useful distinctions.
Can a tool tell me my nursery is safe?+
No. The NuraNest environment check and product measurements do not issue safety grades or replace safe-sleep guidance.
